Christmas Beauty Favs

Hello all,

So after quite a long break of blogging due to my first term at university in a different part of the country, I'm back with a beauty post. I'll just be showing you of my favourite bits that I've gotten over the past two weeks, some gifted for Christmas and others recently bought. This is in no way bragging or showing off about what I have, I'm not even rich enough to do that! I, just like 90% of the female population love receiving/ buying beauty bits to treat and pamper myself with and I'm always interested in seeing what others got so without further ado..

From my dad and his girlfriend, I got a Baylis & Harding mini gift set and I used the shower creme and body lotion once and instantly fell in love with the smell. It's jojoba, silk & almond oil scented and it just smells good enough to eat!

From my mum's boyfriend I got the Diesel Loverdose perfume which I've uploaded a post on before so I won't talk too much about it but it's probably my favourite perfume to date. It's sweet and sensual and I love the bottle.

When I opened Alien by Thierry Mugler from my mum I genuinely squealed.. Sounds rather silly but I've wanted to get my hands on it for ages! The bottle is so amazing and the smell is dark and sexy. It's rather expensive so I've never been able to justify spending money on it. It's also refillable which means you can take it to a counter and have it refilled cheaper than it would be to buy a new bottle.

The rest of the things in this post, I then bought after Christmas with vouchers and money. Eylure eyelashes in 116 are in this post because I've been wearing them religiously for a year or two now and I get so many compliments on them, it's unreal. I was unfortunately born with short, straight eyelashes and so wearing fake eyelashes has become a habit of mine. I usually don't buy the pre-glued ones but this was the only option on my latest shopping trip but the style of the eyelash is still the same- long and natural looking.

My latest 'pop into town' resulted in coming home with a Mac bag.. Admittedly, I received a voucher for Christmas so I felt a lot less guilty! I chose lipsticks Hue (Glaze) and Faux (Satin) and eye shadow (Copperplate) to put in my Pro Pallet. Hue almost comes off as a light glossy lipstick in a nude-pink shade and Faux comes off more matte and bold in a 'muted mauve-pink' as described on the MAC website.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post and I'm really sorry it's been so long.
