OOTD- Purple Tartan

Hey guysssss
God, its been a little while! But here I am, back with another OOTD post. Before i start, I would like to apologise for the angry/ moody facial expression I'm wearing in these photos, the sun was making me squint and if you don't know me too well, this is actually my natural facial expression.. And yes, I do get told to cheer up far too often!

Today's look is great for a night out. It's quirky and hot at the same time and is the perfect sort of outfit for when you want to dress up in the colder months. This shirt I got in the sale £20 reduced from £40 which I thought was a baaargin. It's cropped which makes a nice change from all the long cut tartan shirts that are around at the moment. I styled the look with my new gorgeous boots, which I might upload a post on, just because they're so beautiful. Of course, this could be styled with a boot or skater pumps to dress it down for day time.

Shirt: Urban Outfitters
Jeans: Topshop
Boots: New Look

I will be back soon with more posts i PROMISE. Until then, thanks for reading my lovelys!

Look for Less- Vera Wang A/W '14

Hey everyone!

I'm going to be doing 'Look for Less' posts on my blog, hopefully on a regular basis. This is basically me picking 3 of my favourite designer looks from the catwalk and showing you how you can get the look from the high street. I'm using Polyvore to create these looks so links will be left below so that you can find out where to get these items and how much they cost. This is more of a guideline so not everything on here is super affordable because I'm concentrating more on getting the look as close to the original as possible, but this gives you an idea of what to look for if you want to create a similar look.

So the Vera Wang A/W '14 Look For Less is all about finding the right grey/ navy toned checkered skirt or dress, accessorizing with insect inspired jewellery and matching a pair of long socks with a chunky pair of boots. Leather, black textured pieces, a slogan tee and a bomber or trench will help to round off this look and help you create the perfect Vera Wang look.

Holiday Picks- Swimwear

Hey everyone!
I'm going to be doing 'Holiday Picks' which is where I pick out my favourite pieces from different stores to wear on holiday or just in the summer. There will be a couple more of these and i may even do repeats in a couple of months as there will lots of new things out by then. Today's post is on swimwear. There are some really hot prints out at the moment so I'll be going through all my favourites, where to get them and how much they cost.

Topshop have got some really beautiful printed bikinis and even the more ones are in a range of super flattering colours. I am a mahoosive fan of high-waisted bikini bottoms with a regular bikini top. They are great if you're self-conscious stomach as it keeps you in tight. I have next to no curves so I'm going to be using it to give me a little bit of shape to my body and it also means if I want to eat loads while I'm at the pool, then i don't have to worry about sucking it in! The cheapest you can get a bikini set at Topshop is around the £20 mark, going up to just under £40 for the most expensive.

You can probably see high-waisted is becoming a trend in this post.. but i can't get enough of them! The prints in River Island are a little less feminine and have a bit more personality to them. The colours are also bolder than they are in Topshop. Price range is very similar. You're unlikely to get a bikini set at River Island for under £25 and don't stray over £40.

These sort of prices aren't for the faint hearted! That's right, these prices are for the bottom half alone! I know that for a lot of people this is a lot of money for swimwear but some of you might be prepared to spend this amount. I know i wouldn't spend this much but i think the print are absolutely gorgeous and like no other. We can just look right?

Anyway, that just about sums up my Swimwear Holiday Picks. Until next time, thanks for reading!
