Hey everyone!
So as i mentioned in my last post, I decided to do a 'How to style' addition to my blog starting with this one! As you can probably tell, this post is based around this white top that i picked up from Primark (Further details in previous post). I love this top and i think its so versatile, you can pretty much wear it with anything and for £6- how can you say no!? I've done 4 quite different looks styling it with pastels (Image 1), a grungy look (Image 2), a look for a night out (Image 3) and an event/ evening meal look (Image 4). I think this top is also great used as a beach/ pool cover up to pop over your bikini!
Disclaimer: These posts are meant for inspiration so that you can get an idea of how to style this sort of top. It doesn't have to be this exact top and you can mix and match and take as much or as little advice from these posts as you like!
Look 1
This look uses pastel colours to create a feminine casual day time look. I've tucked the top into some high waisted jeans and rolled up the bottoms. You could style this with any pastel shade of jeans/ trousers. I think mint or baby pink would look gorgeous! I bought these double soled canvas shoes a while back for £20 but haven't worn them an awful lot. They're perfect for summer time and fit in well with the chunky-sole trend. I've paired this with my trusty gold chain which I've worn the death out of and my new sunnies. And yes, yes i did forget to take the stickers off.. This look is perfect for a day out in shopping or a trip to the beach.

Look 2
In this look I've paired the top with black high waisted jeans (untucked), an over-sized utility shirt, cut-out boots and a beanie to create a grungy day time look. This look is casual and comfortable yet stylish, rocking the monochrome and military trends in a laid-back way. The shirt, jeans and boots are items you can wear again and again so they're worth investing in. This look could be styled with a denim or any over-sized/ slouchy shirt instead. Boots and a beanie are a great way to tone down the femininity of a floral shirt.
Beanie: Gift
Khaki Shirt: Urban Outfitters
Jeans: Topshop
Cut-out Boots: New Look
Look 3
I'm not sure why this picture is coming out grainy but oh well. So, this look is perfect for a special occasion or an evening meal out with the family. I've tucked the top into a denim skater skirt and paired it with some nude patent pointed-toe court heels. These shoes are great for adding a bit of a grown up feel which i think is necessary when mixing a skater skirt with a baby face like mine! They're also great for an event you want to dress up for, but don't want to go all out with 6 inch heels. Match this floral top with lace, flowy fabrics and/or muted pinks for a pretty feminine look.
Denim skirt: New look
Heels: Primark
Look 4
This final look is for a night out so I've tucked the top into a body-con skirt, popped on a leather jacket for colder nights, put in some statement hoop earrings and paired it with black wedges and a clutch. A clutch is pretty mandatory for a night out, you don't want something you have to lug around but something big enough to pop your essentials in. This top could be tucked into any body-con or pencil skirt of all lengths and worn with any sort of heels. I love a bit of black with gold detailing! Sorry, I didn't get any close up shots for this look, my camera ran out towards the end!
