University work: Development of Illustrations
These illustrations started from Life Drawing sessions. I scanned them onto the computer, drew over them on photoshop, added colour and then found backgrounds for them.

Univeristy- Creating GIFs
This week we learned how to make GIF's using Photoshop. It was pretty fun actually and we were allowed to experiment however we liked. I used an Illustraion made my someone else and created it into a GIF. A GIF is basically a moving image made my a couple of time frames that are repeated.

University Work
This week I took magazine covers that inspired me and drew over the top of them to re-create them. I actually found this really fun and I'm quite pleased with the outcome!
With this particular cover I decided to draw tattoos on Rosie and edit the title top and bottom.
For this cover I changed the 'I.D' logo, added some pastel colour into her hair and cut out a shape in her shoulder and replaced it with a texture.
A look into my University work: Illustrations from Life Drawing + Technical Flat
Hey everyone. I'm going to start uploading a little bit of my work from Univeristy. I think it's quite interesting for people that want a bit of insight into what sort of things you do on a fashion course and I think it could be helpful for people that are interested in coming to AUB (Arts University Bournemouth).
At the moment, I am involved in two separate projects, one of which includes life/ observational drawing. For this particular part of the project, we experimented with looking at catwalk poses and drawing them with a continuous line, some without looking at the page you're drawing on. Here are some of the ones I'm most proud of

Christmas Beauty Favs
Hello all,
So after quite a long break of blogging due to my first term at university in a different part of the country, I'm back with a beauty post. I'll just be showing you of my favourite bits that I've gotten over the past two weeks, some gifted for Christmas and others recently bought. This is in no way bragging or showing off about what I have, I'm not even rich enough to do that! I, just like 90% of the female population love receiving/ buying beauty bits to treat and pamper myself with and I'm always interested in seeing what others got so without further ado..
From my dad and his girlfriend, I got a Baylis & Harding mini gift set and I used the shower creme and body lotion once and instantly fell in love with the smell. It's jojoba, silk & almond oil scented and it just smells good enough to eat!
From my mum's boyfriend I got the Diesel Loverdose perfume which I've uploaded a post on before so I won't talk too much about it but it's probably my favourite perfume to date. It's sweet and sensual and I love the bottle.
When I opened Alien by Thierry Mugler from my mum I genuinely squealed.. Sounds rather silly but I've wanted to get my hands on it for ages! The bottle is so amazing and the smell is dark and sexy. It's rather expensive so I've never been able to justify spending money on it. It's also refillable which means you can take it to a counter and have it refilled cheaper than it would be to buy a new bottle.
The rest of the things in this post, I then bought after Christmas with vouchers and money. Eylure eyelashes in 116 are in this post because I've been wearing them religiously for a year or two now and I get so many compliments on them, it's unreal. I was unfortunately born with short, straight eyelashes and so wearing fake eyelashes has become a habit of mine. I usually don't buy the pre-glued ones but this was the only option on my latest shopping trip but the style of the eyelash is still the same- long and natural looking.
My latest 'pop into town' resulted in coming home with a Mac bag.. Admittedly, I received a voucher for Christmas so I felt a lot less guilty! I chose lipsticks Hue (Glaze) and Faux (Satin) and eye shadow (Copperplate) to put in my Pro Pallet. Hue almost comes off as a light glossy lipstick in a nude-pink shade and Faux comes off more matte and bold in a 'muted mauve-pink' as described on the MAC website.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post and I'm really sorry it's been so long.

Holiday OOTD x2
Hat: Amazon
Dress: Missguided
Bag: Gift
Shoes: Topshop
Top: Topshop
Skirt: Missguided
Shoes: Topshop
Hey guys!
So while I was on holiday I managed to shoot two OOTDs. I got a few others on my phone (selfies) but didn't think there was much point in uploading them really! The first outfit is definitely one for holiday, the bag is so festival inspired and where else could you wear a hat that big!? The second outfit was worn for evening drinks and food. My two Missguided skirts (baby pink and mint green) were so perfect for holiday I had to give myself a small pat on the back for buying them. After all, nothing haunts you like the clothes you don't buy, right? They were bright, comfy and went with so many of my crop tops.
So, this is going to be my last post before I move to Uni. I don't actually know how long it will be until I get my next post up but I can imagine it will take a little time for me to settle in and get comfortable. I definitely have no plans to give up on my blog so don't you worry about that :-) I'll be back in no time.
Until then, a massive thanks to you guys, my readers for keeping me going!
I hope you've enjoyed my blog so far, I hope to improve with time and I hope you'll stick around while I go through a very exciting time in my life!
Lots of love,
Jade x

OOTD- Pop of Pink
Hello my sweets.
So this post was supposed to go up before I went away on holiday buuut I clearly got too excited and forgot. This post is actually pretty gloomy looking which is odd because it was still sunny when these pictures were taken! So, because I have a massive addiction to high waisted jeans, these low-rise jeans got pushed to the back of my drawers. As ripped jeans are very 'in' at the moment, I decided it was time to bring them back out. I think the easiest way to style these pink pumps is with neutral/muted colours- let the shoes do the talking!
